1、 The first is the lack of lubricating oil

1. After long-term shutdown (including transportation), the oil in the head of Ingersoll Rand air compressor accessories is insufficient, resulting in instantaneous oil shortage and jamming. Therefore, the equipment that has been shut down for a long time should first add sufficient oil to the head before starting up;

2. The oil supply of the running machine is insufficient, including the untimely replacement or addition of lubricating oil, or the oil circuit is blocked and leaked, resulting in the lack of oil and jamming of the machine head;

3. The low oil level causes the bearing at the end 2 of the screw rotor to lose lubrication during operation, resulting in serious wear of the bearing and friction jamming (locking) of the male and female screws


2、 Air compressor bearing aging
The wear is serious. The specific wear degree of the bearing can be detected. When the bearing is not removed, move the needle or ball at the lower side of the bearing. If it can be easily moved, it indicates that it needs to be replaced; With the passage of the running time of the air compressor, the overhaul bearing of the air compressor head will inevitably be worn, resulting in the increase of the axial displacement value and radial displacement value of the screw. This change will change the gap between the screw and the screw, between the screw and the main body shell and between the front and rear end faces. This gap change is normal and allowable within the service life of the bearing, and the resulting air compressor gas production attenuation and transmission motor load increase are also normal and allowable. However, when the bearing of screw air compressor accessories is worn and the matching clearance of the main engine exceeds the allowable limit, serious consequences may occur. For example, if such a piece of iron filings with a thickness of 1 mm goes in, it may get stuck. First of all, friction will occur between the screw in the host and the front and rear end faces, and between the screw and the host shell, and the motor load will increase sharply. The most serious consequence is that the screw is locked, and even the host (head) will be scrapped due to the friction between the screw end face and the assembly end face (if the motor protection response is not sensitive or fails, the motor may be destroyed). Secondly, the large attenuation of air compressor gas production may affect the normal production of gas users.
Three. There are too many impurities, including impurities in the oil, carbon deposition and coking. Therefore, it is key to select air compressor oil and replace lubricating oil; The main engine (head) is more likely to get stuck when using inferior lubricating oil or exceeding the service life.
Professional maintenance of screw compressor is helpful to prolong the service life of air compressor. The maintenance of air compressor is also an important expense, so professional compressor operators should be invited.
